My students, colleagues, friends and staff have been supporting my effort to help the families of farm workers.  The group of people we help is from Los Duros, an Indian reservation trailer park.  Most of these persons depend on agricultural work. They live in a tribal reservation mostly without the necessary human needs. The majority of them are from indigenous cultures from Mexico;  most do not speak Spanish they speak dialects.  My personal opinion is that greed, power, corporations, deforestation are some of the factors that affect this people.   As we all know, "big brother", (USA) is the place to go.  Many lives have been lost in the process of crossing the borders, but to this people, it is better to perish trying to cross the border than to die of hunger. We provide food, blankets, clothes and toys for the children in Christmas.
